Longboarding

Seeing as how the ski season is over, Natasha decided that we should try a new hobby- longboarding. Ofcourse she is one up on me because she can already snowboard, so I first need to figure out the boarding thing. But after longboarding through the Flatirons mall parking lot last night I am excited to say I think I have found something silly fun for me to do. So my plan is to begin longboarding. And if anyone wants to join us, it will be lots of fun and hopefully we will meet nice cute longboarder guys to teach us (we already have 2 guys, Nick James and some other guy Natasha met). This is a longboard. Now all I need is some money to buy a board and a helmet and I will be on my way toward longboarding in my parking lot. Please support my new found hobby. Love Rach

Summertime adventures

I agree that we need to have fun this summer. So I am excited to tell you about our new adventure. Scientists have found a planet that is the most similar to earth, with like oceans and rocks, and may hold extra terrestrial life. I was so excited about this news that I immediately started day-dreaming about Stars Wars/Battlestar Galactica-esque adventures. I am hoping that this summer we can go there and maybe there will be an amazing planet filled with wonderful princes and cute animals akin to koalas and such. Here's the article. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18293978/?GT1=9246 . I can't wait to dress up in really cool outfits that are kinda medival but futuristic on our new vacation spot.

Summertime continued

I will participate in summertime activities, but I warn you, this will be my look for the rest of the summer and/or eternity

Summertime

hello,

I come bearing news of the summertime. Yes, we are still in the spring but I should make everyone aware of the summer. What is to come? I can only hope it is a reunion party of the hotties. Granted I know nothing of anyone else's plans, I must say selfishly I will be spending June and July in our fair city of Boulder. What are the hotties doing?! Can we plan BBQ's and nights of fun!?

hearts,

I'm in love with both of these guys.

This is the puppy that I want. One of our secretaries at work has all these puppies (part lab mix). His name is Louis Bourbon XVI, the French king who loved to eat and was chubby like him. I can't wait till Ville sees the new addition to our wonderful family. I can't actually get this dog, so he is just going to be my dog in my head, naturally. Look at how excited Ville is about the Louis XVI. We will make a beautiful family. And we will all wear black together.

Playing in Winter Park

If any of you ever feel like your esteem is low or that finding a guy to talk to is impossible, I have the solution. It is called Winter Park, where every guy is in love with the cute out of town girls (ie us). Within the past 2 weeks, I have met four different guys there. They have all called me, bought me and Natasha drinks, dinner, etc. One of them, Dominic, even taught us about the crazy world of LA Mexican gangs (the rest of his family is in them, he decided not to, since gangs kill people). I then had one guy ask me for my phone number and I had only just met him for like 4 mins. My self-esteem is through the roof. I am officially now a player, but only there, and my true heart still lies with Ville Valo (in fact there was someone who liked him when he was younger and I almost jumped him till I saw him with his blond girlfriend). So if anyone would like to be the sexiest girl in the room, join me at Buckets (the bar) next weekend where you can meet guys who aren't giant tools and teach you all about crazy things like 1080s (three spins in a jump) and gang life. It's all so ridiculous.

Angry Professor

It's interesting that that video was uploaded to youtube last year after we had the assignment to make our own youtube videos. Schoenie told us that if we got more than 10,000 hits I think it was that we got an automatic A in the class. If you listen closely you can here Justin laughing when Schoenie takes the phone. What's even more perfect was that Schoenie was a guest speaker in the class for potential creative ad students. Apparently during Q and A no one wanted to ask anything. I'm glad the video is getting hits. I love all the comments it got on the page. Or how people re-upload the original for some reason. Or when people respond with videos that are really stupid.

As everyone can see basketball prom didn't go over too well with only 2,029 hits. I think about 500 of them were mine and erin's just refreshing the browser.

speaking of youtube here's a great video

A Newsflash for Tori!

This was in Saturday's Denver Post:

Jonathan Schoenberg is in the midst of a very long 15 minutes of fame.

A video clip featuring the creative director at Boulder-based TDA Advertising & Design has spent 11 months on the popular video-sharing site YouTube.com and has been viewed more than 2.8 million times.

It shows a staged confrontation between Schoenberg and a student who takes a cellphone call during class at the University of Colorado at Boulder. When his lecture is interrupted by the phone call, Schoenberg walks over to the student, grabs the phone and slams it onto the floor. Then he calmly continues the lecture.

Schoenberg and a colleague staged the outburst and filmed it for TDA's website as an example of viral communications. Then someone uploaded it to YouTube.

Since then, the clip has been picked up on ABC, Fox and MSNBC broadcasts to illustrate stories about students who secretly tape angry teachers.

"It has all been really bizarre," Schoenberg said. "I've even gotten marriage proposals from YouTube."

Wow! Did you get any marriage proposals from Prom Basketball, Tor??

xoxo
